Visa processing: common questions

Something not covered here? Ask us on WhatsApp and we’ll answer it.

How long does a student visa take?

There is no fixed time: it varies by embassy, season and individual case, so we plan to submit as early as your admission allows. The German Embassy says processing times highly vary and that demand for student visas exceeds its capacity. For France you must first complete the Campus France interview. A complete file the first time is the fastest file.

Can my parents sponsor my studies?

Yes. Sponsorship by parents is common, supported by their bank statements, income documents and a sponsorship letter. Italy accepts an apostilled affidavit from family members up to the fourth degree, France accepts a sponsor’s affidavit with six months of bank statements and ID, and Germany usually expects a blocked account. We prepare the sponsor documents with you.

What happens if my visa is refused?

We go through the refusal reasons with you and advise whether to reapply or appeal, and what to change in the file. The options differ by country: Italy allows an appeal within 60 days, France within 30 days, and German missions in Pakistan have not accepted objections since 1 July 2025, so you fix the file and apply again.

Can you guarantee a visa?

No. Visas are decided by the embassy, and nobody can honestly guarantee one. We make sure your file is complete, consistent and well prepared, and checked against the embassy’s requirements before your appointment, because that is where most refusals come from. We also help you prepare for the visa interview.
