University admission: common questions

Something not covered here? Ask us on WhatsApp and we’ll answer it.

How many universities should I apply to?

Usually several, balanced between ambitious and safer choices. The right number depends on your profile, the programmes and the application fees involved, since some universities and services charge a fee for each application. Italian universities mostly charge €10 to €60 per application, and uni-assist charges €75 for the first course and €30 for each further one.

Do universities charge application fees?

Yes, many do. Most Italian public universities charge between €10 and €60 per application, and uni-assist, used by many German universities, charges €75 for the first course and €30 for each further course. These fees are paid to the university or service, separately from our fee, and they change every year, so check the university’s own page before paying.

Do I need HEC and IBCC attestation?

In most cases, yes, at some stage. Most applications and visa files need your degree attested by HEC and your school certificates by IBCC. What you need depends on the country: Italy wants the MOFA apostille, France prefers IBCC and HEC attestation, and Germany does not accept the Pakistani apostille. We tell you which documents need it and when.

Can you guarantee admission?

No. Admission is decided by each university, and nobody can honestly guarantee it. We make sure your applications are complete, well argued and submitted on time, with documents that meet each university’s rules, and we help you choose universities that fit your profile and your budget.
