Admission Deadlines
Padua offers three rounds of applications for degree programs with unlimited seats:
- First Call: November 2, 2024 – February 2, 2025
- Second Call: March 2 – May 2, 2025
- Third Call: June 2 – August 2, 2025 (only for EU citizens and non-EU citizens residing in Italy)
For degree programs with limited places, the deadline for the first call is January 7 – March 7, 2025.
Semester Start Date: October 2025
Application Fee: 30 euros per application (You can apply to up to 3 programs in each application)

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to applicants from any country.
- Bachelor’s Program: TOLC exams are required.
- Master’s Program: Different grade requirements per country; for Pakistani applicants, a 3.1 CGPA is required.
- Language Proficiency: IELTS is not required if your previous degree was taught in English. In such cases, an English Language Proficiency Letter can be submitted. Please review country-specific and program-specific requirements for additional details.

Scholarships at the University of Padua
The University of Padua offers a variety of scholarships to support talented students.
Merit-based Scholarships
- Full Tuition Fee Waivers: Padua provides 100 full fee waivers to international students enrolling in English-taught programs.
- Padua International Excellence Scholarship: This prestigious award includes a full fee-waiver and an €8,000 (gross) annual stipend.
- Departmental Scholarships: Selected departments offer additional scholarships of €6,000 per year for exceptional students.
No separate application is needed for merit-based scholarships. If your profile meets the eligibility criteria, you will automatically be considered, and the university will notify you of any scholarship awards.
Veneto Region Scholarships
The Veneto Region funds scholarships for low-income students enrolling in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs, available to both Italian and international students.
